Spell Factory Basic Information

The Spell Factory was introduced in December of 2012 and added an entirely new element of fun to attacking. This is because the Spell Factory allows you to create spells that can be used during an assault with a press of a button, giving players a bit more to do than just tossing units into the battlefield and watching them do their thing.

“The Spell Factory is home to veteran Wizards who are better suited to creating magical weapons than front-line combat. Use their powerful Attack Spells to turn the tide of a battle in your favor!”

There are currently five unique spells that can be created, and the ones you can create depends on the Spell Factory level. These include the Lightning Spell, Healing Spell, Rage Spell, Jump Spell, and Freeze Spell. All of them require Elixir to be created. Also worth mentioning is that the number of spells you can have at one time also depends on the level of your Spell Factory.

Spell Information and Strategies

Lightning Spell

This simple but useful spell allows you to damage any buildings or troops within a 7 tile radius by raining bolts of lighting on them from the sky. The damage output depends on the level of the spell. Lightning Spells are best used to eliminate strong defenses such as Wizard Towers and Air Defenses, or to get rid of weaker Clan Castle troops before they pose a threat to your army.

Healing Spell

Easily one of the best spells in the game, the Healing Spell allows your units to recover hitpoints while on the battlefield. Troops within its 5 tile radius will be healed a certain amount of health every 0.3 seconds for 12 seconds. The number of hitpoints recovered per ‘pulse’ depends on the level of the Healing Spell. The best strategy is to place it on units with a lot of health that also move slow; this way there will be more hitpoints being recovered and they’ll be less likely to leave the healing radius.

Rage Spell

This powerful spell is very commonly used and for good reason: it enhances the damage output and movement speed of all units inside its 5 tile radius. This means that your units will not only move faster than before but will also do about 130%-170% more damage, depending on the spell level. While this spell is good for use on any troop, it is recommended that you place it where there is (or will be) a large number of your units to maximize its effectiveness.

Jump Spell

As the name implies, the Jump spell lets your units ‘jump’ over walls, bypassing them completely. It is very useful if you need your troops to reach a certain target or spread out in an enemy base quickly without wasting time destroying walls. For this reason it is best to place them somewhere within the base so that your units are hopping over more than one wall.

Freeze Spell

Dropping this spell on ground troops or defenses temporarily disables them. This means that they will not be able to attack your units for the duration of the spell, which depends on its level. Freeze Spells are perfect for use on formidable defenses such as Wizard Towers, X-Bows, and Inferno Towers so that your troops have a chance of reaching and destroying them.
